Luna, a four-month-old cougar cub is the smallest and weakest in a litter of three. After a rattlesnake startles her, she tumbles into a creek. She is swept away from her family and the only life she has ever known. She crawls out on the bank, alone and terrified. The wrong animal hears her calls for help: a hungry lone wolf.
All Luna wants is to avoid the wolf that stalks her every move, and return to her cozy den. While fleeing through the dangerous forest, she encounters humans and an intimidating mother elk and her baby. Are Luna’s instincts and agility enough to survive the quest to rejoin her family?
